I am really excited about this new venture. It is a company that has positive sucessful women and I want to a part of that. The kids and I went to church and it was better than we thought. Amber was so upset at lunch after church because she had to take a nap and she was afraid we were going to leave her behind when we went back later. We did not go later that night but plan on doing it in the future. The kid also will go to Awana on Wednesday nights. Here is the link to Redmond Baptist Church http://www.fbcor.org
February 13 Amber's 3rd BirthdayYeah! Amber has turned 3. She has become quite the little person. She loves to say thank you for the things that people do for her and give her. She loves terrorizing her older brother. She loves barbies and playing in her kitchen. She loves most music, though even when she was younger a slow sad ballad would and will make her cry. She loves to sing and dance. She has a new phase of coloring. She colors each page just one color. She loves drawing people and animals. She loves reading to people and her dolls and she loves people reading to her. Grammy is her favorite person. She likes to copy the things she sees around her so sometimes we hear very interesting things. Amber has grown into quite a little person. Back to work.Yeah and boo. I get to go back to work. It has been a long road to recovery after rupturing 2 disks in my back. I have not worked since the beginning of November. I did get to go to my brother's for Thanksgiving because I was out of work and I was able to spend a lot more time with my kids (which is as frustrating as it is fun)! I also started baby sitting again. I have had only a couple of jobs, but I was lucky and had great kids. One family likes my baby sitting so much, they are going to leave there 2 kids with us for a week. The mom is a Navy wife and her husband will be docked in Fl for a week. I will get the feel of a big family (sometimes I wish I had more kids and sometimes I think I have too many). It is nice to be able to give breaks to other parents even if it is just for a night. Finding FamilyI have come to realize that my family is in trouble. We are all afloat alone, it seems. I have decided to take my brother's advice (and my grandmother's) and find a church. I looked for a Baptist Church, because that is the church group I have gone to most of the time. I do not appreciate dancing in the isles at church, so I looked for a little family church. I also was looking into finding a cub scout group for my son, so he would be around peers that have good family values. I got lucky. The cub scouts are kind of broken up by churches and non churches. The LDS church had 5 cub scouts troops in Redmond alone. I found the Baptist Church and they have cub scouts. We looked into getting Nick into softball, but found that we were too late for the season. We will try again next year. I also found a really cool family website. http://www.family.org/ I have found some really good advice. The church we will start going to had the link on their website. Here's to hoping a little God in our life will help. |
