April 26 One Long WeekI watched 2 kids for a freind of mine and it made my family of four a family of 6. It was much harder then I thought it would be. Mostly because of space and because of the differnet raising techniques applied by the two different styles of parenting. Amber and Ashlyn are both dominant females, ok, divas. They clashed heads as much as they enjoyed having another female around. Tyler really like having a big brother around (Nick loved having a little brother) and Tyler really liked Bobby. (Tyler's dad is in the Navy and gone on the ship a lot!) It was a long week, but I already have another over night sitting with them, but it will be in August. Just a little recovery time. Ha ha ha. Amner's First Hair CutYes, I really did. We took Amber to get her hair cut. We kept the hair and Amber as you can tell was very surprised by what she looked like with short hair. It is adorable, but I doubt that I will do that again. I really miss her long hair. Now it is much thicker, which is why we cut it in the first place. She seems to like it. Idylewood ParkThe kids really like going to the park to play. I love taking them. Of course this time of year it is harder because of all the rain. Amber took her birthday doll to the park and Nick even got a couple of football throws in with his dad. Amber's 3rdI found out that you are only allowed to put so many pictures on your blog a month. Last month I was up to my limit so I had to wait until this month to add more. As you can tell I really like adding pictures, especially of my kids to my blog. Amber's grandma Suzy made her birthday dress and cake again. (It's like having our own seamstress.) Amber loved it (as usual) and we had a small party for Amber with her grandparents. Afterwards, Nick, Amber, Bobby, and I went to Chuckie Cheese. Amber and Nick had a blast. Happy 3rd for Amber. |
