    The Trip

I packed what few things were most important and put them in storage, packed the thigns we could not live without into the car and the kids and I drove out to Missouri.  The minute I hit Springfield, I got an overwhelming panic attack.  Did I really just empty everything out of our house and move the kids and I back to Missouri?  Once we got into town, we went to my friend's home and umnpacked the car.  After showers and clean clothes, we all went to see Bobby.  I left the kids in his care and went to drive around town and see what had changed.  I saw many changes.  The town seems to have grown in a good way. No longer is it just a small town off of a small military base.  There are many new stores, resteraunts, and hotels.  New homes and apartment complexes have popped up. Even with all the changes, it is still Missouri.  Today I take the kids to see their great Aunt and Uncle and then they will go with Bobby to see his brother's family.  I will be out and about getting reacquinted with the town I left in such a hurry.

    Seasons of Change

Wow, how quick the summer has flown by.  The kids are ready for school, but we are in the process of moving back to Missouri.  I know, I know. I said I would never go back there in a million years, but I am moving closer to the kids dad and closer to my boyfriend.  Life has many strange twists and turns and you never know where you will land or fall.

I can not believe how much work it is to pack a house our size and all the things we have accumulated after such a short amount of time.  I seriously believe that some of our stuff has mated and that is how we ended up with so much stuff. Ah, but we hope that all the packing and moving is done Friday afternoon so that the kids and I can start our treck back to Missouri via car.  Wish us much happiness.
